Yougetitback, an Ireland-based provider of anti-theft technology for mobile devices, announced last week that it has rebranded as Inhance Technology.
According to a statement, the rebranding strategy is intended to provide the company’s clients and partners with a “clearer understanding” of their capabilities and the markets they serve.
The company’s service, which can be customized to fit the needs of each retailer, protects that data held on smart mobile devices in several ways including; taking a picture of the surroundings if a device is lost or stolen; emitting an audible, screeching alarm sound to alert bystanders; and, as a last resort, delete all data contained on the phone completely.
“We have purposely migrated our business to a position of compelling value to our B2B clients and — as a result — our programs now enhance the warranty and insurance programs of some of the world’s leading retail, insurance and telecommunications brands,” Paul Prendergast, the company’s CEO said ina statement. “As we are about to open a North America sales and support office and also embark on a growth drive in the emerging markets, the timing is now optimal to adopt a more communicative, accurate brand message.”
