Elemental's Security Compliance Management Product Now Available on GSA
SAN MATEO, Calif., and GAITHERSBURG, Md. -- Elemental Security, Inc., and Conquest Security Inc. today jointly announced that the Elemental Compliance System, an award-winning product enabling customers to centrally manage the security compliance of all computers in their environments, is now more readily available to Federal government customers via Conquest Security's recently awarded Federal Supply Schedule contract from the General Services Administration (GSA).
Elemental is an award-winning pioneer of new technology in enterprise information security. Conquest Security, an important channel partner of Elemental, is an information security consulting firm that is solely focused on the information security needs of federal agencies and commercial organizations.
Elemental's award-winning product is the world's first solution that unifies policy management, host configuration and network access control in one seamlessly integrated offering. For the first time, organizations can easily express cross-platform security policies that affect individual computers and their behavior on the network, gather meaningful up-to-date information to compare to established metrics, and selectively enforce policies across a diverse, dynamic environment. Security compliance has become a top priority for government agencies due to the pressures from increasing frequency and severity of security breaches, and from regulatory requirements, such as those promulgated by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA).
"This GSA contract award enables Conquest Security to offer the most advanced and market leading information security solutions to the federal government, including Elemental's security compliance management product," said Juana Williamson, President and CEO of Conquest Security. "The Elemental Compliance System is one of the primary products in our suite of security offerings now available on our GSA Schedule. We see it helping federal customers to dramatically improve their security compliance and enforcement measures with continuous proactive visibility into activity on their networks."
"Conquest Security is an early and significant Elemental channel partner," said Michael Rogers, Elemental vice president of Sales. "It is important for Elemental to partner with an outstanding security consulting firm who has a GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract. Conquest has shown tremendous initiative in securing this award and we are pleased to be included on their GSA Schedule. We have experienced positive interest from Federal Government agencies evaluating Elemental's innovative security compliance management solution to solve their policy management and compliance issues. Conquest Security's GSA contract award ensures that Elemental's solution is readily available to the Federal sector."
Conquest Security's contract award, under GSA Schedule 70 (Information Technology), covers advanced information security products that will enable Federal information security professionals to meet their challenging regulatory requirements and to improve the protection of critical Federal information assets. GSA contract awards enable government agencies to more easily purchase from contract holders such as Conquest Security, by simplifying procurement procedures, eliminating the need for RFPs, reducing lead times and lowering administrative costs. Conquest Security's GSA contract number is GS-35F-0842R (Schedule 70).
