IDV Solutions announces Visual Command Center User Conference
Lansing, MI, June 25, 2013 — IDV Solutions today announced its first Visual Command Center User Conference, to take place prior to the security industry’s biggest annual event, ASIS International’s 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2013). The user conference will be on Monday, September 23 from 1-6 P.M., CDT, at the Microsoft Technology Center in Chicago, IL.
Visual Command Center is physical security and risk visualization (PSRV) software that enables organizations to identify, evaluate, and take action against threats to their assets, including buildings, people, and operations. It unites data from external sources, enterprise systems, and physical security devices into a consolidated real-time view.
The User Conference will include sessions and break outs appropriate for executive and senior risk and security leaders and operations center management teams. Visual Command Center product team members will lead a session that explores ways that risk and security teams can visualize and leverage existing data to provide more value to their organization.
Participants in the roundtable sessions will have the opportunity to share use cases and to learn from their counterparts in industries such as telecommunications, technology, oil and gas, financial services, and more. Certified Protection Professionals (CPPs) and Physical Security Professionals (PSPs) will earn up to two continuing professional education (CPE) credits for participation.
“The User Conference is an excellent opportunity for security and risk professionals to learn, share, and excel with Visual Command Center,” said Ian Clemens, Chief Technology Officer, IDV Solutions. “The user conference is also an important venue for IDV Solutions to hear from our customers’ chief security officers and operations center management on the issues and challenges that they face day-to-day or during a crisis. The sessions we have with them are essential to keep Visual Command Center at the forefront of PSRV software and help our customers protect their people and assets.”
