Critical infrastructure cybersecurity expert Aaron Crow joins MorganFranklin Consulting
Washington, D.C., March 13, 2024 – MorganFranklin Consulting, a leading finance, technology, and cybersecurity advisory and management firm that specializes in solving complex transformational challenges for its clients, today announced the addition of seasoned cybersecurity leader Aaron Crow to serve as Senior Director for Operational Technology (OT) Security in its cybersecurity practice, focusing on Utility, Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, and Transportation.

Aaron’s career spans more than two decades in which he has carved a niche as a cybersecurity expert within the power utility and OT sectors and has been dedicated to improving cybersecurity measures across critical infrastructure environments.
Before joining MorganFranklin, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of Industrial Defender where he significantly influenced the company’s product development and strategic direction to drive innovation and growth within the OT cybersecurity space. As a manager of OT for power generation at Luminant (Vistra), Aaron oversaw cybersecurity protocols across more than 40 power generation sites, including a vital nuclear power plant.

This platform has become an essential resource for sharing knowledge, trends, and insights.
In addition to his advisory position with Building Cyber Security, where he plays a crucial role in enhancing security measures within building management systems, Aaron is deeply involved with the ICS Village. The ICS Village is a notable non-profit organization, dedicated to raising awareness and providing education focused on Industrial Control System (ICS) equipment and cybersecurity.
Through hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and speaking engagements, Aaron helps illuminate the complexities of ICS security, driving a deeper understanding and implementation of effective cybersecurity practices. This commitment reflects both his passion for safeguarding critical infrastructure and his broader mission to elevate cybersecurity resilience industry wide.
Aaron embarked on his educational journey with a focus on Electrical Engineering at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, before discovering his passion for the fast-evolving fields of computers, networking, and technology. Over the years, Aaron has achieved a wide array of certifications, reflecting his dedication to mastering various disciplines within the tech industry, including CISSP, MCSE, CCNA and CEH.
