Robotic Assistance Devices unveils long-awaited RIO project at GSX
Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Robotic Assistance Devices formally unveiled the long-awaited RIO project at GSX.
“RIO, like many RAD solutions, is a response to dealer and end-user demand,” said Steve Reinharz, CEO of AITX. “This is the first time we are applying RAD technology to an existing market. In this case, I estimate that this market is worth $500 million a year in recurring revenue. I’m excited to see how much of that can be captured by RAD.”
“We're excited to be introducing RIO at GSX,” said Mark Folmer, president at RAD. “We look forward to disrupting this huge market and empowering our dealers to further improve their businesses.”

RIO has been designed with portability and round-the-clock performance in mind. RAD says. At its base stands a ruggedized portable trailer positioning the unit’s two solar panels and housing the device’s high-performance batteries and control systems.
RIO’s retractable mast extends nearly 20 feet where a single ROSA is mounted providing an ideally positioned 180-degree field of view. To achieve a 360-degree field of view, a ROSA-Expander unit is also available.
