The Sage Group, a strategic leadership, business model and marketing advisory announced the second keynote for its premier leadership event: The Great Conversation & Technology Showcase on Tuesday, March 4th.
“Tim Rigg, Chief Security Officer for Alcoa, brings C-Level insights, a methodology and measured results that many leaders in the security industry need to hear to enable their next right steps on their path to value”, said Ron Worman, Managing Director of The Sage Group.
Rigg's presentation, Leading Change: Creating Performance Metrics to Support Value in the Business, will focus on creating the business case for a security program. He will discuss how he launched a global transformation effort that would document and measure the people, processes and technology with the end goal of creating alignment with the mission and goals of his organization. Additional elements of the presentation will include the past, present and future framework that initiated, formed, and anchored this effort.
“Next generation security leadership demands a thorough understanding of the business as well as the risk profile”, said Rigg. “However, more than ever, it takes an understanding of how your people are deployed within a process. Your program can only improve through a unique understanding of how to apply metrics that matter to your program as well as the business.”
“When Tim Rigg spoke at the Next Generation Security Leadership forum in Chicago, we knew his journey would resonate as well as inform the leadership of our industry, said Phil Aronson, President of Aronson Security Group and host of The Great Conversation in Seattle. “We are excited to welcome him to The Great Conversation.”
