NTC: Networking 101

This one-day (8 hour) interactive course will provide alarm integration technicians in-depth training on the basics of networking. It includes IP addressing, firewall issues, cabling options, and connection of networked security devices onto "live" LANs and the Internet. The intent is to involve students in live exercises, which will instill networking knowledge in those who attend. Product applications, video compression codecs, and troubleshooting are also presented.
