Oct. 1--Granite Properties has started construction on a speculative building in RiverPark Business Center, 15600 Trinity Blvd., in Fort Worth.
This is the second building in the development, and it is scheduled to be completed in May, said Jeff Jackson, Granite's industrial leasing manager.
The 355,238-square-foot building can be leased by a single user or divided into 100,000- to 120,000-square-foot sections, he said.
Granite has a 145,000-square-foot building at the site. Two additional leases have been signed, bringing occupancy to 40 percent, Jackson said.
MSC Industrial Supply Co., a direct marketer of industrial supplies and equipment, leased 14,685 square feet, and Belfor USA, a disaster restoration company, leased 14,385 square feet.
Greg Trout and John Brewer, with Henry S. Miller, represented MSC. Michael Stanzel of NAI Robert Lynn Co. represented Belfor.
-- Two office buildings planned in Arlington
Arlington builder Jim Tally is adding two more buildings to the Tally Green Oaks office complex.
The second phase, slightly larger than the first, will have 16,000 square feet split between the two buildings, Tally said. The buildings are at 1301 W. Green Oaks Blvd., near Lake Arlington.
It is primarily speculative office space, although Tally said he is talking to a tile company about a possible lease. The project will be completed in May, he said.
