EX Series Offers Excellent Image Quality and Economy

Las Vegas, NV (April 5, 2006) – Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), announced the newest addition to their line of color surveillance cameras. The WV-CP240EX offers improved image quality over previous models at an outstanding value, to provide Panasonic performance and quality to a larger base of users.

Panasonic’s EX Series color cameras includes the WV-CP240EX (120V AC), WV-CP242EX (12V DC) and WV-CP244EX (24V AC). All three cameras in the EX series feature Digital Signal Processing (DSP) to provide better image quality and to minimize color noise when viewing patterned objects. In addition, the EX cameras feature 480 TV lines of horizontal resolution and a Signal-to-Noise Ratio of 50dB. For low light applications the ultra sensitive F1.2 lens captures images in lighting as low as 1.1 lux. Additional image refinement features include Automatic Light Control, Automatic Gain Control, Auto-Tracing White Balance, Back Light Compensation and Aperture Correction.

The flexibility of the new series means systems can be tailored for a wide range of applications. Three selectable synchronization modes include Internal, Line-Locked and Panasonic Multiplexed Vertical Drive synchronization.
