Organization moves toward formal business development of integrator network

Integrator group PSA has appointed Dave Homet as its new business development officer. In this new position, Dave is responsible for implementing a formal business development program designed to create new business opportunities for PSA members and to assist them in growing the profitability of their companies. Dave will travel the United States promoting PSA members and the benefits of working with the PSA network.

The new position fits in well with PSA's plans on growing the membership and branching out by exploring new vertical markets and opportunities such as facilities and IT arenas. Homet plans on promoting the training and experience of PSA members nationally in those new markets as well as continuing to reach out to existing end users.

Dave is a 22-year industry veteran with an extensive background in sales and territory management including working with integrators and end users in commercial, residential and retail segments of the industry. Dave has direct national account experience. As sales director for OnQ Technologies, Dave called on and supported national accounts and implemented national programs. During his tenure as area sales manager for ADI, Dave was responsible for generating new sales and maintaining existing key accounts including Wal-Mart, Tandy Corporation, and Sonitrol. In addition, Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.

"PSA's vision in the next year is to take our current membership to a higher level of proficiency and training," said PSA president and CEO, Bill Bozeman, CPP. "Over the next five years, PSA will be setting the new standard for end users in providing total solutions. Whether it is CCTV or protecting the IT network, PSA members will be the answer. With Dave's experience, we are in a better position to realize the vision."

"I'm looking forward contributing to the growth of member businesses and working with manufacturers," says Homet. "I'm excited to explore new markets and find industries in which to grow the PSA organization. With the level of training and experience in our member's own local markets, we have a huge opportunity to develop new business and taking PSA to the next level."
