Siemens Names New President of North American Security Systems Business
Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. has appointed Alan E. Calegari president of its Security Systems division.
In his new role, Calegari will be responsible for directing the growth and market strategies for the company's security solutions and services businesses, as well as enhancing its position as a leading systems integrator.
Prior to his new appointment, Calegari served as the senior vice president responsible for Siemens Building Technologies' Canadian operations, as well as its Building Automation division there.
"Alan has the experience and leadership skills to accelerate the success of our security systems business," said Daryl Dulaney, Chief Operating Officer for Siemens Building Technologies.
Over the past 28 years, Calegari has served in a number of executive management positions with multinational corporations in 13 countries.
Calegari holds a doctorate in management from the University of Studies of Rome-Loyola University Foreign Exchange Program, and completed an Executive Program in Advanced Management from Harvard University. He is fluent in six languages.
