Datacard Group to Present at CARTES in North America

Company selected to present on two tracks focusing on EMV technology innovations and how to build a successful card program while minimizing costs

MINNETONKA, Minn.—(Jan. 25, 2012)—Datacard Group, the world leader in secure ID and card personalization solutions, today announced that they will be speaking at CARTES in North America exposition & conference taking place on March 5th – 7th, 2012 in Las Vegas, NV.  

The first session, titled “EMV Card Personalization: Stay Ahead of the Innovation Curve” will be given by Sebastien Tormos, vice president, vertical marketing for Datacard Group on Tuesday, March 6th at 2:00 p.m.  The presentation is part of the Worldwide EMV Deployments track and will outline the factors that are important for successful implementation of EMV technology. Tormos will also cover several options for issuance of EMV-compliant cards, as well as process steps that ensure security and flexibility for card operations.

The second session, titled “Building a Successful Card Program While Minimizing Costs” will be presented by Ron Zanotti, regional vice president of financial instant issuance for Datacard Group; and Alyssa Arredondo, senior marketing manager for Datacard Group.  Part of the Smart Card Innovation Track, the presentation will be given on Wednesday, March 7th at 11:30 a.m., and will reveal how card issuers can improve efficiencies in their card operations to help minimize costs and gaining the best return-on-investments.  They will also highlight how card programs can help meet consumer demands by supplementing centralized card production with instant card issuance.
