Onity has completed a successful integration of its CT30 offline locks into the OnGuard security software platform developed by Lenel Systems International. This integration makes it possible to program, manage, encode and monitor the locks from within the OnGuard environment, enabling facility managers to address both interior and exterior doors from a single application. The CT30 lock comes standard with keycard-operated magnetic stripe technology and offers a PIN-code keypad for an extra layer of security. The seamless integration of the lock was made possible by the open architecture design standards of the OnGuard system, which allow synergistic technologies to run on the same platform. Both Onity and Lenel are part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
