VideoTronix Inc., based in Minneapolis and doing business as VTI Security Integrators, has acquired Systems Integration Corp. (SIC), strengthening its hold in the marketplace and becoming one of the largest privately held security companies in the Rocky Mountain region.
VTI Security Integrators, a member of Security-Net, is run by Thomas Asp, president and CEO of the company. The firm has offices in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Denver, Colorado Springs, Cheyenne and Amarillo.
Asp said he was “excited” to complete the acquisition in 2012 and looks forward to additional significant market presence and operations in the area, which will fold into its existing Golden, Colo. offices.
“The merger of SIC operations will greatly expand our business and resources,” he said. Rob Howard, owner of SIC commented that his employees have transitioned to VTI and “the migration of the business is progressing smoothly.” The transaction closed on November 2, 2012.
“By merging our similar product lines, manufacturer certified employees and the customer base into an existing operation, we expect to see strong financial growth from this operation in 2013,” Asp continued. “In addition, we will continue to explore our strategic growth plans through organic opportunities as well as additional acquisitions in existing or new markets,” he said.
