Midwest Alarm Services acquires Electric Specialties Company

Iowa-based dealer expands into Nebraska

DES MOINES, Iowa (August 1, 2016) ­– Midwest Alarm Services, a leading provider of life safety systems based in Des Moines, Iowa, announced that it has acquired Electric Specialties Company of Omaha, Nebraska.

Electric Specialties Company was founded in 1983 by Herk Campbell and specializes in life safety systems. Electric Specialties Company provides service, inspection and monitoring services to over 350 customers.  Herk Campbell and his employees have joined the Midwest Alarm Services team. The terms of the deal between the two companies were not disclosed.
