Condortech Services recognized as Top 100 Minority Business Entrepreneur (MBE)
FAIRFAX, Va., Nov. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council recognized Condortech Services, Inc. (CTS) as a 2017 Top 100 MBE® winner. This award recognizes owners of minority business enterprises in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia who have demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial accomplishments, a high level of professionalism, and have made substantial contributions to their community.
This is accomplished through a rigorous process of certifying that MBE suppliers are at least 51% owned, controlled and operated by ethnic minorities; providing education and advice to certified businesses; and finally, creating strategic opportunities for corporate members and certified MBEs to connect for the purpose of doing business.
The awards ceremony was hosted graciously by MGM National harbor on November 2, 2017. Condortech Services was well represented Fabiola Francisco (COO) and Birhanu Woldeab (Project Manager) in attendance.
Earlier this year, CTS moved into a new facility located in the heart of the Northern VA area. Contracts stretching from Alaska to Florida kept the company's engineers sharp and on a growth curve. Being recognized within the Top 100 MBEs is the cherry on top of a great year.
Jorge Lozano (CEO) says, "This year it has been very challenging for all of us in America. Despite the new forms of terrorism like the most recent horrific events in Charlottesville, VA., Las Vegas and Texaswe are deeply committed and passionate about protecting our Homeland. This year we continued developing and providing advanced technological innovations in our security solutions. We believe Cyber Security and Border Security must be an integrated part of our solutions. We also believe that in the 21st century Advanced Technology must be augmented in our designs, in order to minimize the threat. We now have advanced audio detection to detect gun shoots and stress, and with the combination of drone Technologies; and the integration of other sensors; we are in a position to progress our security standards. We are definitely energized from receiving these Awards, and especially the invitation to the White House, during the celebration of National Small Business Week. These recognitions made us proud and invigorate us to continue the fight against crime and terror."
