ADS Security, a regional electronic security and automation company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn., has acquired customer accounts from Central Carolina Security of Sanford, N.C. The purchase adds approximately 3,000 accounts to the ADS North Carolina customer base, which also includes accounts in Washington, North Carolina. ADS will retain the Sanford location which marks the twentieth branch for ADS across the Southeast.

The purchase of Central Carolina Security is the second purchase for ADS this year, following the acquisition of about 1,300 accounts in Tuscaloosa, Ala. last month. In 2015, ADS acquired security companies in Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia totaling approximately 6,500 accounts.

The purchased accounts will be serviced out of the Central Carolina Security office located at 1142 N. Horner Blvd. in Sanford, N.C. McDonald and his team will be joining ADS Security.
