Illinois-based systems integrator Convergint Technologies announced this week that it has acquired Total Recall, a video-centric security technology provider specializing in surveillance solutions, including command and control centers, wireless connectivity, and video network design and management.
Founded in 1985, Total Recall has been providing federal and municipal governments, businesses, and organizations with surveillance solutions for over 30 years. Total Recall has expertise in building sustainable, large-scale systems operating in the harshest urban conditions.
"Total Recall extends Convergint’s capabilities in supporting highly sophisticated citywide networks, and we are thrilled to have their team of experts to join Convergint Nation,” Dan Moceri, executive chairman and co-founder of Convergint Technologies, said in a statement.
In addition, the acquisition of Total Recall will enable Convergint to build and support custom solutions with open networking standards that provide fast, scalable installation and cost-effective maintenance. Total Recall also brings a unique list of clients and a highly skilled workforce with experience in deeply complex metropolitan environments.
“I am confident that combining the talents of Convergint Technologies and Total Recall will create a robust organization with the ability to meet the evolving needs of our customers for years to come,” added Jordan Heilweil, president of Total Recall.
Convergint continues to drive both strong organic growth and growth through acquisitions around the globe. Total Recall is the sixth acquisition that Convergint has completed since January of 2015, three of which have deepened its capabilities domestically, and three of which have expanded its global footprint.
