Allied Universal acquires Security Integration Inc.

Allied Universal on Friday announced the acquisition of San Rafael, Calif.-based. Security Integration, Inc. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“The acquisition of Security Integration is an important step in our long-term strategic plan to leverage technology across our entire business footprint especially in Northern California,” said Steve Jones, Chairman & CEO of Allied Universal.
Founded in 2006, Security Integration, Inc. provides electronic security solutions for a wide variety of customers across northern California.
“Having seen the maturity of the national and international marketplace for Security Integrators, we had a choice of partners, and Allied Universal best fit our culture of putting the customer first,” said Dennis Raefield, CEO of Security Integration. “We are excited to be part of the go-forward Allied Universal team.”
The addition of Security Integration, Inc. will expand the company’s rapidly-growing Allied Universal Technology Services division, which provides electronic access control, video surveillance, fire/life safety, alarm monitoring, emergency communications, hosted /managed services and a variety of Global Security Operating Center (GSOC-as-a-Service) offerings.
