For over 30 years Innovative Electronic Designs has set the standard for large-scale audio and visual paging systems. IED is proud to announce the release of the G7053 Series audio power amplifier system. The G7000 series is a modular amplifier frame that allows for unmatched flexibility, features, and ease of use.
The G7053 mainframe is the base for the G7000 series. This unit can support up to five (5) dual channel 200 watt RMS per channel, 70.7V amplifier cards allowing for delivery of up to 1600 watts of continuous output. These amplifier cards utilize the industry's first 70.7V class D topology using direct Pulse Wave Modulation from onboard DSP to the output, making this amplifier truly "digital". Any installed amplifier card(s) can be configured to act as a back up unit for any combination of cards installed in the mainframe, which is an industry first. Each amplifier card features onboard DSP allowing for up to 200ms delay, 9 band parametric EQ, output limiting, and automatic ambient noise compensation.
The G7053also supports a single CobraNet® enabled CPU control processor card. This card offers dual redundant Ethernet ports for CobraNet® and control. This CPU card includes four balanced line level analog inputs and two balanced line level analog outputs allowing for paging, messaging, and BGM control and delivery. Onboard DSP can be applied to paging and zone control, including program, BGM, and page zone routing. When used in this configuration utilizing the amplifier card modules and CPU, the G7000 series is designed to meet UL Standard 1711.
If necessary, the G7053 can also support up to three (3) auxiliary I/O cards, the G7000AUX. This auxiliary card includes eight noise sensor collector inputs, four relay outputs and four logic I/O ports for even greater system customization. Finally the G7000 series includes IED's industry leading supervision and fault reporting capabilities. The unit will monitor fan status, temperature, and output current and voltage as well as ground fault detection. The fully integrated monitoring system has the capability of monitoring amplifiers and speaker lines using user defined frequencies, levels and schedules
