The TG-PEM is Telguard’s newest UL Listed accessory compatible with TG-7 Series communicators. The TG-PEM’s power module allows you to run the TG7-FS off of a 24-volt panel power, so you won’t need to hire an electrician to install an outlet. The TG-PEM’s zone expander allows you to expand the TG-7’s intrusion system with 8 highly configurable zones—16 if you use two TG-PEMs. Furthermore, in a commercial fire installation scenario where there is no DACT, the TG-PEM can be used to connect the TG-7FS to the FACP outputs to deliver fire alarm, trouble, and supervisory events.
ULC Listing for TG-7FS
The TG-7FS has been a flagship product for Telguard since its introduction and dominant force in the commercial fire space in the United States as one of the first devices to allow the use of a single cellular communication path to replace two phone lines. With the addition of ULC S559 Listing, and 180 second link supervision, the TG-7FS will now be available to the Canadian market. With the introduction of the TG-7FS, Telguard is looking to expand its portfolio in the commercial space.
