Kent, Ohio –– Nov. 18, 2020 –– Sage Integration, a security integration provider serving enterprise Fortune 100 clients, has named industry veteran Jim Geyer as its new vice president of sales. Geyer will lead an expanding sales team as Sage continues to grow its national footprint protecting clients’ people, facilities and reputations with innovative, on-the-ground support.
With Geyer’s 22 years of security industry experience, the Sage executive team saw a leader who offered tactical sales abilities while also demonstrating broader strategic knowledge, said Eric Frasier, chief executive officer, Sage.
“Jim has deep insights into how a successful security integrator operates,” he said. “We’ll count on him to lead our sales team, but also look forward to his contributions to other vital components of our business model, such as marketing and operations. Jim is a complete professional.”
Geyer held top sales management positions throughout his security industry career, working with Stanley Security, Niscayah, SST, ADT Advanced Integration. Most recently, he served as vice president, sales for Allied Universal.
Geyer said he looked forward to the challenges and opportunities offered by Sage, a “31-year-old start-up company” formed last year with the merger of two regional security powerhouses, AYSCO Security Consultants and DTS Security.
“We’re going to be disruptive, not satisfied to always accept the status quo,” he said. “My team will work to expand Sage’s nationwide business without the need of brick-and-mortar offices across the country. The COVID-19 pandemic has clearly shown you don’t have to be sitting in an office to get work done. I want to shake the dust off and think of new and better ways to focus on our customers. We’re going to turn some heads.”
Also, Geyer said he will empower his sales team to showcase their vertical market subject matter expertise by providing credible and useful information via social media channels.
John Nemerofsky, chief operating officer, Sage, said he appreciated Geyer’s proven sales track record and his understanding of Sage’s strategic approach to meeting clients’ needs with novel approaches to their security needs.
“I couldn’t be more confident in Jim’s ability to grow our organic sales efforts,” he said. “Also, Jim’s business acumen meshes well with our strategy of using embedded personnel and helping clients innovate with solutions that keep their people and assets secure.”
