Global Smart Lock Provider Kaadas Expands into North America

English noted that one of the things that impressed him about Kaadas is the company’s dedication to innovation and new products.

“When I joined the company, one of the things I asked was, ‘What's your feeling on new technologies and doing some new things in North America?’” English explains. “And the answer I got was, ‘Tell us what you need to be successful in North America and we'll make it for, and we'll make it fast.’ So that's the kind of response that drew me here.”

Continuing with that innovation theme, English says the company has more than 200 folks in research and development. “Most of them are engineers and they are committed to winning in North America, and making high quality products at great prices, including an incredibly broad product lineup that we are now able to offer.”

Another differentiator, English points out, is the company’s “end-to-end manufacturing with very little supply chain constraints,” he said. “We are the manufacturer – we're not farming that out, so we can keep our quality control in line, and we can keep our supply chain in line. It really is helpful when you're making the parts that you're assembling.”

He continues, “That also translates into cost control. So, I think we'll come in with a competitive price point, given that we do control all of these things and have that end to end. Another differentiator would be the fact that we're open to doing white-label OEM and even ODM for security dealers/integrators, whether you're a large security integrator, or you're a security products manufacturer. We're already in talks with several to make products for them with their name and their specifications.”
