Make the Most of Your ISC West Experience

From charity, to concerts, to networking, to education and keynotes, there's something for everyone at the industry's biggest event

ISC West will feature more than 750 exhibitors, an expanded SIA Education@ISC program, a Main Stage keynote series, and a variety of special events and networking opportunities. Here’s a quick look at some of the highlights:

Main Stage Keynotes

The New Cyberthreat Landscape (April 2, 9 a.m.): Rachel Wilson, a former National Security Agency (NSA) executive and current cybersecurity leader at Morgan Stanley, will delve into the ever-evolving cyberthreat landscape. She will provide key insights into how businesses can adapt their cybersecurity strategies to defend against these evolving risks.

Securing the Nation’s Largest Mall (April 3, 9 a.m.): With more than 32 million visitors annually, the Mall of America faces enormous security challenges. Will Bernhjelm, the mall’s security chief, will discuss the latest strategies for tackling retail crime, as well as all-hazard preparedness, an approach that ensures readiness for myriad security threats.

The Woman in the Arena (April 4, 10 a.m.): Kate Maxwell, General Manager for Worldwide Education at Microsoft, will focus on the courage and resilience needed to lead in male-dominated industries such as technology and defense. This event will also include a celebration for the SIA Women in Security Forum’s Power 100.

The educational program spearheaded by the Security Industry Association has expanded in 2025 to include more than 110 sessions on a variety of topics. Trends and Opportunities in the Connected Home (March 31, 12 p.m.), with Eric Smith of OliverIQ and Avi Rosenthal of the Z-Wave Alliance.

School Security Standards Roundtable (March 31, 12 p.m.), with experts Kevin Wren, Paul Timm, Jason Stoddard and Guy Bliesner.

Workplace Violence Legislation (March 31, 1:15 p.m.), with Cynthia Marble of Ontic.

Ethical Leadership Roundtable (April 1, 10 a.m.): Moderator Dan Rothrock of Zenitel is joined by integrator executives Wayne Smith of Tech Systems, Shaun Castillo of Preferred Technologies, Alaina Meyer of scDataCom.

Modern Sales Strategies (April 1, 2:15 p.m.): Meet Security Business expert columnist Chris Peterson, who will be joined by colleague Gannon Switzer of Vector Firm, Tracy Larson of WeSuite and Maureen Carlson of System Surveyor.

Combating Labor Shortages in Physical Security (April 1, 3:30 p.m.): PSA’s Candica Aragon is joined by integrator executives Brent Van Haren of SecurAlarm, Lori Hudnall of SAGE Integration, and Zachary Brackett of Preferred Technologies.

How to Talk to IT for Installers (April 2, 10 a.m.), with RSA experts Lorenzo Pedroncelli and Randy Belbin.

AI and AGI in Surveillance (April 2, 11:15 a.m.): Panel discussion featuring expert technology consultants Pierre Bourgeix, Jon Polly, and Joseph Baker, as well as Kirill Sokolinsky of EyeOT Monitor and Dr. Boghos Boghossianof Ipsotek.

The AI Regulatory Landscape (April 2, 1 p.m.), with Jake Parker of SIA, James Marcella of Axis Communications, and Sam Joseph of Hakimo.

Maximizing Cloud: The Role of System Integrators (April 2, 2:15 p.m.), with Eric Yunag of Convergint, Mike Dunn of Wachter, Andy Schreye of Stone Security, and Patrik Pettersson of Axis Communications.

Security Industry Workforce Trends (April 2, 3:30 p.m.): Panel discussion featuring Kerri Sutherland of Axis Communications, Mark Erskine of TEKsystems, and Jamie Quanrud of Resideo.

The State of Security Technicians (April 3, 11:15 a.m.): PSA’s Matt Barnette leads a panel of integrators, including Tia Eskandari of Allied Universal, Todd Van Haren of SecurAlarm, Joe Christie of Integrated Protection Services, and Jeff Blum of Condortech

Special Events and Networking Opportunities

Beyond education, ISC West will again offer a live concert experience – this time featuring 90s rock bank Gin Blossoms –  on April 2 at 5 p.m.

Other special show events include a booth-to-booth “Pub Crawl” at the Aiphone, Ambient.ai, IronYun, and Milestone Systems booths on April 3 at 4 p.m.; and the official ISC West Customer Appreciation Party at TAO Nightclub in the Venetian on April 3 at 10:30 p.m.
