The DKS Lane Barrier Accessory system is an easy add-on to DoorKing’s popular 1601 barrier gate operator. The lane barrier is ideal in applications where a higher degree of vehicle traffic control is desired, but without the expense of bollards, wedges or crash beams, making it ideal for apartment communities, gated condominiums, car rental agencies, parking lots and toll booths.
The lane barrier is surface mounted making installation quick and easy. A simple mechanical linkage to the 1601 barrier operator eliminates the need for separate motors or hydraulic vales and keeps the barrier arm and lane barrier in sync.
The integrated barrier arm and lane barrier are LED lighted for high visibility and operate at a fast 1.5 seconds. The system is available for lane widths of 9, 10, 12 and 14 feet and includes a red / green control signal.
The DKS lane barrier system is a reliable, continuous duty, industrial grade electromechanical parking barrier arm with lane barrier. The DKS lane barrier system is not crash rated, however the system enhances theft protection and traffic control by adding a formidable barrier, but without the cost of a full crash rated system.
