The Trident Automatic Bollard from Trident Security Devices is a retractable bollard that operates using an electric motor. The bollards can be cycled constantly and require no recovery time. They are designed to achieve in excess of 120 up and down cycles per hour and has an MCBF (Mean Cycles Before Failure) rating of 1,500,000 cycles. The bollards provide an 11-inch diameter by 30-inch-tall barrier, and can fully retract or raised in four seconds.
