Supplied in single units, each section is lightweight and compact for ease of transport, storage and deployment. Using a 4-man crew, installation can be achieved across a single roadway within 40 minutes. This modular system incorporates a number of innovative features allowing Surface Guard to be delivered to the site using lightweight vehicles. Another unique feature is how the Surface Guard can easily be deployed across traffic islands, curbs and gutters. Designed for freedom of movement the Surface Guard vehicle barrier solution protects pedestrians all while maintaining a high quality of life for the area in which it is deployed. To further enhance the system the Surface Guard barrier graphics can be fitted for branding or public message.
