San Diego, Calif. – Feb. 4, 2014 – MicroPower Technologies Inc., an award-winning provider of surveillance solutions optimized for rapid, cost-effective deployment, today announced the development of a finance option for its Helios surveillance system. The offer is designed to drive reseller growth by enabling installers to capitalize on the unique value proposition of MicroPower solutions.
For a limited time, system integrators can deliver and install a complete four-camera, solar-powered wireless surveillance system at the end user cost of $2,760 down and $629 per month for 24 months. The Helios system is designed to be an extension to any existing surveillance infrastructure. Due to its open platform approach, it can easily integrate with current technology environments. The technology platform’s wireless, solar-powered infrastructure reduces deployment time and eliminates the need for wiring, trenching and permitting.
MicroPower will deliver the technology components of the system and will work closely with aligned system integrators to ensure quality and streamlined deployment. The company will also provide access to marketing resources, enhanced training support and other tools to help resellers maximize margins and capitalize on new business opportunities. This offer, which is currently available to customers in the United States, is available through May 1, 2014.
“The financing program is a significant part of our forward-looking channel support strategy, which provides system integrators with tools to better position themselves for success as a MicroPower partner,” said Dave Tynan, Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales, MicroPower Technologies. “This program acknowledges the challenge of the end user seeking capital funding for surveillance projects and seeks to move the expense to more readily available operational budgets.”
MicroPower Technologies’ flagship solution, the Helios surveillance platform, is a wireless video security solution that does not require cabling for power or data transmission. The system removes the restrictions found with traditional cameras and allows users to place cameras at the point of highest risk without the added complexity of trenching or pulling for data or power cables.
