Once a user verifies credentials and enters the turnstile, a presence sensor detects the user and activates rotation. The result is a smooth and secure, completely contactless passage. For facilities with existing Alvarado full height turnstiles that wish to upgrade to a motorized, touchless version, a field retrofit kit is available. Touchless full height turnstile applications included hygienic employee and visitor access control, time and attendance integration, and unattended entry points in industrial facilities, government and military institutions and open campus perimeters worldwide.
