Krieger’s special-purpose hybrid doors are custom-engineered to provide radio frequency (RF) shielding and sound control with an STC 51 acoustical rating — all in one assembly. Its innovative design features our unique slip-in frame and ensures optimal performance, making it ideal for installations where sensitive information must be secured.
Radio Frequency Shielding – Krieger’s RF hybrid is tested to the IEEE-299-2006 standard for shielding effectiveness as well as the NSA 65-6, MIL STD-285, and Division 8. It provides RF shielding in the electric, planewave, and microwave fields in the frequency range of 1KHz to 18 GHz. Assembly is available with: RF 40 dB/STC 51 with a 1 ¾" door panel or RF 60 dB/STC 51 with a 3" door panel.
Certified Sound Control – This hybrid door is available with an acoustical rating up to STC 55 and can be configured to meet SCIF Sound Groups 3 or 4 requirements. It is tested to ASTM E90, ASTM E336, and other certifications to ensure professional, commercial-quality sound control.
705 SCIF Door and Lock Package – This all-in-one box assembly is 100% ICD 705 certified and meets standards for SCIF Sound Groups 3 or 4. It features a choice of pre-installed 2890C locking devices from Sargent & Greenleaf or Lockmasters. Plus, it is available with the option to add 40 dB radio frequency protection for installations where TEMPEST standards are required.
