With more than 100 years of experience taking care of homes, Resideo's background and experience keeps us moving forward as we prepare to help keep homes running efficiently for the next 100 years (and beyond). This year, Resideo hosted more than 600 of our closest partners – including security, HVAC and plumbing professionals – at our annual CONNECT Customer Event to honor the collective past, and to look to the future with the theme: "Connecting the Future."
The theme embodies many elements of our company and our partners as smart solutions offerings in the future can enable more proactive connections and insights, including predicting homeowner needs or creating partnerships that care for the home and the community, including insurance and utility partnerships.
"Resideo stands for identifying issues before they become problems or even disasters, diagnosing problems with pinpoint accuracy and fulfilling our mission to create safer, more comfortable and energy-efficient living spaces," said Nick Dalsin, VP of Business Development at Resideo. “Together, we are connecting to a future where all of our professional service partners can deepen their connections with their customers by offering new services that complement their product installs.”
To help deepen that level of service, the CONNECT event featured new products and offers a wealth of knowledge from guest speakers and seminars, including this year a dynamic masterclass in customer experience from Jesse Cole, Owner of the Savannah Bananas.

Resideo Honors Customers
The event also honors the impact professionals make in their communities. In 2023, Resideo's professional HVAC and Security professionals made a difference in their communities, and two very special awards were presented:
Resideo leaders Scott Harkins, Quentin Gunther, Phil Theodore and Dana Huth presented the 2023 Medal of Honor Award to Orlando Emergency Signal (accepted by Marvin Smith) for its impact on the Resideo dealer community and the security industry.
The 2023 Making a Difference Award was presented to Security Central. The Security Central team was recognized for raising and giving over $1 Million to people in need around the globe.

Six awards were handed out for Life Safety: Alarm Protection Services (APS), B Safe Security, Bates Security, Holmes Security Systems, RFE Alarms Ltd., and Wayne Alarm Systems.
Community Impact
Resideo hosted a community service event with Mission 500 and packed 500 care packages for Phoenix Children’s Hospital patients and care takers, and they also recorded video messages of encouragement.
Resideo presented 29 companies with awards for their contributions to their community, which included collecting food drive donations, installing free security systems for crime victims, hosting events for kids, and supporting law enforcement:
