Two keynotes headlining IANS’s June 18-19 Dallas Information Security Forum promise to provide all the details.
On Tuesday, June 18, Peter Zuong, head of technology, corporate security and privacy at Ericsson North America, will kick off the forum, speaking on “Next-Generation Mobile Security.” Zuong will detail the latest strategies Ericsson and other large organizations like it are bringing to bear as they look to manage and secure the ever-growing range of mobile devices used within the business. While Zuong joined Ericsson in 2011, he has more than 22 years of experience across the banking, insurance, financial services, healthcare and technology sectors, including senior management positions at State Farm Insurance, Bank of America and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
On Wednesday, June 19, PepsiCo Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Zulfi Ahmed will tackle the topic of “Cyber Attacks and Risk Management.” Ahmed will detail how today’s organizations, faced with the inevitability of cyber threats and attacks, must not only build strong defense postures but also pragmatic risk models that take such attacks into account. He will draw from PepsiCo’s work in building sustainable security initiatives that account for the negative impact of such attacks while strengthening the security stance of the organization as a whole. Ahmed has more than 20 years’ experience in IT and security for major consumer brands, having prior to PepsiCo served as CISO and VP of information security at CVS/Caremark.
