ANNAPOLIS, MD (15 December 2016) – iJET® International, Inc., (iJET) announces the acquisition of red24®, Plc, a UK public company. With the recent acquisition of Aon’s WorldAware® business line in May 2016 and now red24, iJET emerges as a dominant market leader delivering integrated risk management solutions to global organizations faced with managing the growing risks to their people, facilities and operations.
“red24 is well aligned with our growth strategy and service offerings, making this acquisition a great win for iJET and red24’s clients,” said Bruce McIndoe, CEO of iJET International. “Maldwyn Worsley-Tonks’ leadership as CEO helped establish red24 as a leading risk management provider to the insurance market. Maldwyn will continue to be an integral part of the organization going forward.”
iJET will leverage red24’s extensive expertise in the insurance market by adding to iJET’s core services red24’s: kidnap, ransom and extortion (KRE); product safety and recall; corporate investigations; and background screening. Additionally, clients will be supported by a 24x7 regional integrated operations center (RIOC) in Africa, providing broader and deeper intelligence coverage and enhanced global operations and response services. iJET will establish a third iJET Labs Tech Innovation Center in Cape Town, the leading tech hub in South Africa, expanding on the existing red24 tech center.
“The red24 team is excited to join such a well-respected industry leader. I am confident the red24 team and our clients will greatly benefit from both the vision for and the growth of our combined organisations,” said Maldwyn.
iJET will continue strategic growth organically and through acquisitions, focusing on expanding its client base and geographic coverage, as well as enhancing and adding services that support its core mission, to empower organizations to operate globally with confidence.
