ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions – Critical Infrastructure (AAGS-CI) today announced the hiring of Tom Faith as the new Vertical Market Manager, Utilities & Telecommunications. A 30-year industry veteran who has served in several security sales and management capacities, he is based in Wayne, Pa., and reports to managing director Jerry Burhans.
Faith most recently was a Regional Sales Manager for the access control division of PDC IDenticard, a Brady Corporation business. He successfully grew sales within the education, healthcare and government markets through an extensive network of system integrators in the Mid-Atlantic region.
“I gained a solid understanding of how to engage and partner with the system integrator channel to deliver the most value to them and their customers,” said Faith. “Striving to become a trusted advisor and being responsive to customer needs opens many opportunities to grow business relationships. It has been very rewarding to work with organizations such as the VA Philadelphia Medical Center, Department of Environmental Protection, and New York Presbyterian Hospitals.
“Over the years I’ve learned to embrace being open to new opportunities,” continued Faith. “For me, listening versus talking is vital to gaining insights and the ability to help customers and others. I look forward to doing the same with AAGS-CI’s culture and building meaningful relationships with both internal and external customers. I plan to expand our growth across the utility vertical market by teaming with all stakeholders.”
After Faith graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, he moved back to Pennsylvania where he was born and raised. Married to Deirdre for 23 years, they are parents to Katie, who is a freshman at Penn State University and is involved in THON, the largest student-run philanthropic organization for childhood cancer. In his free time, Tom plays golf, paddle tennis and ping pong, and enjoys cooking.
