Anixter Reassures Dealers at ISC West Press Conference
Fresh off the official end of the Tri-Ed and Clark brand names on Jan. 1, Anixter held a press conference at ISC West to outline the company’s recent leadership changes and to reassure its partners that it will be a change for the better.
“We were very careful to do the rebranding little by little over time so customers would be comfortable,” explained James Rothstein, Anixter’s new SVP of Global Security Solutions. “Ultimately they may be loyal to the brand, but they are loyal to the people. We felt it was very important to keep the longevity of our (employees) and maintain those relationships with our customers. Now with these three companies together, it covers the complete landscape of security dealers from small, medium to large and global – it is a very formidable organization, and it will all be branded Anixter.”
Organizationally, Bob Eck will retire as CEO on July 1, after 28 years with the company, and Bill Galvin will take over the role. Eck will remain on the company’s Board of Directors.
Additionally, Tri-Ed’s Pat Communale announced his retirement, effective March 31.
