Chicago, ILLINOIS – Verify, the world’s first and largest facial-recognition-enabled, background-check database service for companies and consumers, recently introduced its technology to key players at the Electronic Security Expo (ESX) in Fort Worth, Texas. Verify Founder Michael Doherty met with several staff and leaders with nearly 20 key integrators, video monitoring and hardware companies, the president of the integrator association PSA Security, security media, and other key influencers.

Every single person for whom we demonstrated Verify’s offering was interested in knowing more and stated they had never seen an offering like this before,” explained Verify Founder Michael Doherty. Each individual was shown how uploading a photo (or CCTV camera frame) of a person enables one to find and select a suitable match online and instantly learn the person’s name, phone number, residential address and complete criminal history.

“The Electronic Security Association and its helpful staff put on a terrific show that provided us great value,” Doherty added.

By forging new alliances with integrators, and equipment and service providers, Verify expects its technology to provide the security and surveillance industry a crucially important missing link.

With enormous implications, Verify also enables complete searches without a person’s photo. Verify will offer the surveillance industry its powerful technology by providing an API to its algorithm and massive database of photos and background information.

“We’re the only service that enables one to put a name to a face and back it with solid data," Doherty stated. "After last week, we’re committed to rolling out Verify first to security and surveillance market – an industry where we see enormous potential to add value.”

Based in New South Wales, Australia, and with an office in Chicago, Verify’s team has spent the last seven years conducting research & development, consultating with police & security professionals, and collaborating with the world’s leading facial recognition algorithm and database technology companies.

LONG-TERM PLANS

Later this year, Verify expects to introduce both its Consumer and Enterprise Editions in the U.S. The services will help HR departments, property managers, stadiums, retail / malls, logistics and transportation companies, security companies, and many others.

The Enterprise Edition will include FCRA-accredited credit reports and background checks, along with detailed national criminal reports, driving / DMV records, and much more. In fact, findings can be customized and designed from more than 300 different reports for each business client. Eventually, Verify will expand to other countries throughout the world.
