Verkada's CM42 adds a wide range of features to Verkada’s camera portfolio, including increased storage capacity, image quality and analytics performance – all accessible on-the-go from Verkada’s intuitive Command platform.
Verkada’s CM42 is ideal for high-traffic indoor areas where obtrusive video security can take away from the quality of a customer experience – whether it’s a corporate office or a retail store, or even a bank or school.
With a dedicated computer vision co-processor on the new Ambarella SOC, the CM42 unlocks improved people and vehicle detection accuracy and supports Verkada’s novel trajectory analysis in its new motion search experience. This helps security teams conduct faster and more successful investigations.
The CM42 also produces sharper images with better contrast and a significantly improved image quality at night and in low-light conditions. Not only is the image quality better, but the camera offers twice the onboard storage capacity of its predecessor for the 30 day model, allowing more space for high-quality footage.
