Optelecom-NKF Inc.'s H.264 Siqura mini-dome MD6x PTZ IP camera series offers two pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ) IP cameras: the indoor MD60 (pictured) and the outdoor MD62. The cameras support open streaming architecture (OSA) for easy integration with video management systems, and PTZ coordinate positions can be queried or set through the OSA application programming interface (API). Both cameras are capable of streaming H.264 and of simultaneously streaming MPEG-4 and MJPEG. They also feature a Web-based user interface, allowing users to configure settings or view video streams from either a PC or handheld devices, such as PDAs. Also included is day/night (IR-cut filter) and backlight compensation as standard features that can be applied manually or automatically.
