Next Level Security Systems’ NextConnect Video is a cloud-based surveillance service that enables cameras to auto-configure over the network and connect to the cloud for additional mobility, security and video storage options. Currently available on IPELA CLOUD ENGINE EXÔ from Sony Electronics Security System Division, NextConnect Video delivers direct connectivity between the camera and the cloud with no additional hardware. The IPELA CLOUDÔ cameras automatically detect available bandwidth and select a suitable bitrate stream to maximize video transmission and viewing. In addition, NextConnect Video leverages patented peer-to-peer technology that optimizes the client’s bandwidth and viewing device to enable viewing of an unlimited amount of high-resolution video by an unlimited number of viewers. NextConnect Video will be available with Sony IPELA CLOUDÔ cameras at a fixed monthly rate and additional storage options are available for users seeking long-term video retention.
