Innovative Electronic Designs LLC, the world leader in audio and visual paging systems for over 30 years, is proud to announce the release of the IED1544BAS backup amplifier switch. The IED1544BAS offers four independent channels of backup amplifier switching for 4Ω, 8Ω, 70.7V, or 100V speaker lines up to 500-watts per channel.
This unit can be used with any amplifier system that provides dry contact closures for fault conditions. The unit is network capable and can be configured via a standard web browser via IP address or using the IED GLOBALCOM System Management Console. This small unique switch can be DIN rail or wall mounted for use both inside and outside of a rack and it is powered by an external 48VDC power supply or IEEE 802.3af PoE switch. Connections are made via Phoenix connector and unit includes indicator LEDs for power and channel status.
