Video surveillance storage appliance maker Pivot3 was recently named to Forbes’ list of "America’s Most Promising Companies."
The Austin, Texas-based company ranked 74th on the list of 100 privately held companies. According to Forbes, Pivot3 saw $31 million in sales in 2012.
In addition to sales growth, Forbes also weighs employee growth, quality of management teams and investors, margins, market size, and partnerships when making its ranking decision.
"To be acknowledged by such a well-respected publication is a great achievement for our team and a testament to our technology, and more importantly, a marker of our commitment to our customers’ success," said Pivot3 CEO Rich Bravman in a statement. "We have an extremely bright future ahead of us, as we have leading storage technology solutions, an increasing breadth of customers, strong partnerships and rapidly expanding market opportunities."
