Portland, ME (October 20, 2020) -- Mission 500, a non-profit organization, has launched a new website specifically designed to strengthen and carry out the goals of the organization of helping families and children in need.
The goal of revamping the site was to make it more intuitive for those navigating the service mission and events schedule of the Mission 500 team around the country. The design permits interested potential participants to track and plan for upcoming events like some of the past experiences held over recent weeks like the Mission 500 Golf Challenge that was held late September at the Bella Vista Country Club in Marlboro, NJ., a unique Virtual Security 5K/2K for Children where participants were encouraged to walk outdoors or on a treadmill and post their events on social media, and the just completed Security Industry Motorcycle Ride that spanned 105 miles from around the Hackensack, NJ area.
"Our goal since our inception in 2016 has been to involve the community at large with the security community in as many encounters as possible to benefit the children we look to help. We hope this new site design will make it easier for those who wish to work with our team and partners to engage and participate," said Ken Gould, Chairman of Mission 500.
