Active Intelligence debuts security solutions at ISC East
Port Charlotte, FL (October 12, 2022) – Active Intelligence is making its pubic debut at ISC East this November with the introduction of a new preemptive and proactive solution designed to detect anomalies in any video surveillance feed, in real-time.
Distinctly different from conventional video analytics, Active Intelligence’s innovative anomaly detection solution, ASTRA, doesn’t rely on rules to detect specific activities or events. Instead, ASTRA detects anomalous events by first learning what is normal in your video feeds and comparing it against real-time video. This covers an all-inclusive range of anomalies like a person lying on the ground, physical violence, fire and smoke, pedestrians walking in front of moving vehicles, thefts, vandalism, traffic jams, and much more. ASTRA is also ideally suited for a wide range of commercial and industrial business intelligence applications such as process manufacturing, logistics, and trafficking, to name a few. To reduce false alarms, the unique software platform features provisions to ignore user-specified learned events that may occasionally occur in a scene, and can adapt to other environmental changes.
Active Intelligence was founded in 2019 by industry veterans: Ken LaMarca, Chief Executive Officer at AI, who has over 30 years of industry experience; Jordan Heilweil, Chief Revenue Officer at AI, who boasts over 37 years of video surveillance integration experience; and Charles ‘Chuck’ Andrews, Chief Strategy Officer, who is a renowned expert in law enforcement and security, and founder of “Friends of Chuck (FOC)” an on-line community with over one hundred thousand professional security members.“The future of professional security technology is being driven by new developments in artificial intelligence that are automating solutions to longstanding challenges,” said Ken LaMarca, CEO, Active Intelligence. “We launched Active Intelligence to transform physical security and business intelligence systems from reactive to proactive and preemptive solutions. Unlike conventional video analytics, ASTRA empowers existing video systems with the ability to detect anomalies in real-time – things that shouldn’t be happening or exist in the video, just like a dedicated guard would do, but at a fraction of the cost and with much greater accuracy and reliability.”
Active Intelligence will publicly debut ASTRA at ISC East in New York City on November 16-17, 2022. Attendees interested in a private demonstration should visit activeintelligencecorp.com/events or email [email protected] to reserve a time slot.
