    Genetec released a new version of its IP video surveillance solution, Omnicast version 4.5, with support for a variety of on-the-edge video analytic solutions like ObjectVideo technology as well as video devices with built-in analytics from partners like Bosch, Sony and Panasonic. Customers will also benefit from feature enhancements such as a password-protected video export and support for additional camera models and camera functionalities from manufacturers such as Axis, Arecont, IQinVision, JVC, March Networks, Panasonic, Pelco and Sony.
