AUSTIN, TX (March 5, 2013) - Salient Systems Corporation, a leader in video surveillance solutions, is pleased to announce the newest version of CompleteViewTM video management system 4.1. This version offers customers a wide array of enhancements including Active Directory authentication support in the Video Proxy, PTZ support for CompleteView Cloud users, and PSIA integration.
In addition, version 4.1 provides users with a new feature developed for tracking motion from multiple video cameras. QuickTrack allows users to track an event by dragging and dropping video feeds into the QuickTrack camera location on their monitor and capture the video recording for playback as a single video feed. “Salient is thrilled to offer leading edge feature sets like QuickTrack recording,” says Brian Carle, director of product strategy, Salient Systems. “QuickTrack lets loss prevention and other security professionals record live investigations across multiple cameras which can later be reviewed and exported as a single video clip.”
To better serve our customers, Salient Systems now offers a free iPhone/iPad/iTouch mobile app. TouchViewTM Mobile provides customers with immediate access to live viewing, playback and PTZ control from multiple servers, including support for CompleteView Cloud. Developed internally by Salient Systems, TouchView Mobile has 4 x 4 view layout and pinch and drag PTZ control. CompleteView version 3.8.1 and higher supports TouchView Mobile.
To further enhance the latest version of CompleteView, re-certification with our technology partners, Lenel (OnGuard 6.5.624) and AMAG (Symmetry 7.0.1) are available. Anticipated recertification for Software CCure 2.1 is mid-March. For further information or to upgrade to the latest version of CompleteView, please visit www.salientsys.com
