MIDDLETON, WI, May 14, 2013—The new DIGI-44B and DIGI-88B HDBaseT/HDMI matrix switchers from Liberty’s Intelix brand are 4x4 and 8x8 devices respectively that share a host of features designed to facilitate easy installation and a diverse range of functionality.
Outfitted with dual-mode output ports, both units can simultaneously be used to make an HDMI connection and then send the same signal to an HDBaseT receiver located at a remote destination. HDBaseT ports found on either configuration of the matrix switcher also support 1080p HDMI video with audio, bidirectional wide-band IR, matrix control via IR, and HDCP. Conversely, each matrix is HDMI compatible and supports resolutions up to 2 kHz, Deep Color, and full 3D.
Wide-ranging control options are also offered on both the DIGI-44B and DIGI-88B. Beyond convenient front panel buttons, the palette of command includes front panel IR, external IR, remote IR accommodated via HDBaseT extenders, RS232, Ethernet, and—on the DIGI-88B only—RS485. Remote IR control is found within each unit’s matrix that permits IR switching and can be easily “learned” by universal remotes and other IR-based control systems. A full RS232 command set is also incorporated within the matrix on both models, as is Ethernet control via third-party control systems.
The DIGI-44B and DIGI-88B are both in stock and now shipping from authorized Liberty AV Solutions/Intelix dealers across North America.
