Coppell, TX – January 23, 2018 – Advanced Technology Video (ATV), a leading provider of innovative integrated security solutions, announces the release of a new specialty IP camera - IPHS243, a covert Height Strip for discreet, specialty applications, adding unique value to the growing ATV IP Series portfolio.
Unlike overhead cameras that can be obstructed by ballcaps or hoodies, the IPHS243 covert Height Strip camera records video at eye level to capture crisp, clear and revealing images. The camera is discreetly housed within a height strip housing that can be installed on or beside a door frame. The position of the camera can be adjusted and offers an exclusive 5° vertical tilt lever for adjusting the vertical angle.
The IPHS243 is equipped with True Day/Night, Wide Dynamic Range, 3D-Digital Noise Reduction and a 4.3mm pinhole lens. The 2MP, Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution camera offers triple streams up to 60-ips, in H.264 or MJPEG compression format. It also includes a Micro-SD card slot for local storage; Video Content Analysis (Analytics) such as Line, Field and Tampering detection; a composite video output for easy field installation and testing; and 12VDC and PoE power options.
“Our latest covert IP camera combines low height, concealed lens and sharp 2MP, 60-ips video to capture facial features like never before”, says Keith Shaver, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
As with all ATV IP cameras, ONVIF Profile S compliance is guaranteed and sales engineering, customer service and technical support is complimentary. In addition, our powerful ATVision IP® Video Management System (VMS) Client Software, available for both Windows and Mac computers is provided without any license fees.
