Las Vegas, NV (April 11, 2018) – Manything, leaders in cloud video recording and remote monitoring services with more than 850,000 registered users globally, is introducing Manything Pro for professional applications at ISC West 2018 (booth #34061). Manything Pro is a robust and secure SaaS solution offering remote surveillance viewing and offsite cloud recording, creating a new source of Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) for integrators and dealers.
“Over the past 18 months, we’ve been intensely focused on the development and launch of Manything Pro as a convenient and easy new source of RMR for distributors, dealers and integrators,” said James West, CEO and Co-Founder, Manything. “And this is just the beginning; development is already in full swing to further expand Manything Pro’s compatibility with cameras from more manufacturers such as Axis and Dahua, as well as the ability to integrate our software with NVRs/DVRs. Our go to market strategy entails engineering robust functionality first, then enhancing the platform with more advanced features such as AI.”
Implementing Manything Pro is fast and easy. Integrators can install the software onto a compatible camera in under 5 minutes directly from the Manything Pro app with no additional hardware, no port forwarding or router configuration required. An unlimited number of cameras can be added for live viewing for free – users only pay for select cameras that are recording to the cloud. Users can view installed cameras from anywhere via an Apple or Android app, with convenient remote camera control and the ability to save video locally and/or to the cloud. Manything Pro’s software automatically adjusts frame rate, bit rate and resolution to ensure recorded events can be sent to the cloud even in poor network conditions.
Manything Pro’s advanced security features ensure peace of mind for users as well. Installed cameras are non-discoverable and have UPnP and NAT disabled. Users view video transmitted over an encrypted TLS or HTTPS channel, and video is stored and encrypted in Amazon Web Services. Camera passwords are also encrypted, and never transmitted outside the local network.
To make it as easy as possible, Manything can manage all billing and renewals and simply distribute commissions. A white label solution is also available for large dealers and integrators.
“Our objective is to make Manything Pro a default offering for every surveillance installation,” continued Mr. West. “For integrators, this is the turnkey solution they’ve been looking for – it is easy to pitch, quick to implement and convenient to manage while delivering reliable cloud surveillance recording and viewing for their customers, which all add up to increased profitability.”
