Liberty Lake, WASH. – June 19, 2018 – OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud managed video surveillance solutions, announces the release of the June 2018 OpenEye Web Services (OWS) Update v1.6. The latest update includes Object Search, Active Alerts, camera analytics integration and updates for GDPR compliance.
Object Search gives users a new way to quickly locate critical events when there is other motion in the scene like when an item is taken in a busy lobby, when a door is accessed in a public space, or when a car parked and then drove away. Active Alerts provides smart tools to quickly identify and manage users most important alert events with a real-time dashboard to acknowledge and close alerts. The new 3rd party camera analytics integration gives OWS users the ability to take advantage of intelligent monitoring to identify critical events and reduce false positives.
For OWS users who are using our alarm panel integration for video verification, this update also includes new alert filtering options to prevent false positives by filtering motion, sensor, and analytics event alert to send only when the alarm panel is armed. We even have an alert to warn users if someone forgets to arm the panel.
OpenEye Web Services users can take a demo tour of the new features in OWS 1.6 and see the complete list of all new features here: https://www.openeye.net/ows-16
