AMITYVILLE, New York, November 18, 2024 – Speco Technologies has launched the Speco Video Doorbell (O2DB1), a Wi-Fi-enabled smart device featuring a wide-angle lens, two-way audio, built-in card reader, as well as infrared (IR) and LED lights for superior low-light performance.
“Our Video Doorbell offers the best of our video surveillance technology in a sleek, compact design,” said Speco Technologies President, Todd Keller. “We built the Video Doorbell to integrate into existing security infrastructure or operate as a standalone solution, making it the ideal for applications of all shapes and sizes.”
As part of Speco’s suite of IP camera technology, the Video Doorbell supports Speco’s Advanced Analytics, enabling commercial businesses and homeowners to leverage the latest AI-enabled algorithms to perform everything from object detection, audio analytics, and facial recognition to alarm verification in real time. Designed to integrate into video surveillance, access control, and audio surveillance systems, the Video Doorbell expands the capabilities of existing security infrastructure with tampering and door contact alarms, door unlock functions, two-way communication, and credential verification.
“We are incredibly proud of the work our product team has contributed to the development of this new platform,” said Speco Technologies Vice President, Corey Mutterperl. “By combining, video, audio, advanced analytics and IoT capabilities, our new Video Doorbell raises the bar for commercial and residential doorway solutions.”
Key Features:
As the Video Doorbell is also configurable with video management systems (VMS), such as Speco Blue VMS, scale up to a full-fledged surveillance system, transforming your doorway security solution into a comprehensive physical security system that can evolve as your needs change. The Video Doorbell also interfaces with mobile platforms, such as SecureGuard Client and Speco Blue, so you can record footage to existing NVR systems, access alerts remotely and sync data directly to the cloud without subscription fees.
Through Speco’s partnership with Immix, the Video Doorbell enables remote access to live video playback, as well as pre-and post-alarm recording through Immix’s Central Station Monitoring services and Guard Force dashboard, offering you a single view of the most critical events and automating workflows for both access control and remote video verification (RVV) platforms. Using AVS-01 alarm verification standards, slash false alarm rates while compiling detailed records of who did what and when offering long-term incident reporting and detailed system insights.
